The Toronto Total Wellness Centre offers Pilates, in combination with Chiropractic, or as a fitness regimen in private or semi-private classes. The Pilates Method is not just exercise. It is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, performed either on a floor mat or using equipment, and supervised by extensively trained teachers. After a regular Pilate’s regimen, joint mobility will increase, the abdomen and core muscles will be much more toned, overall fitness levels will improve, as will the body's circulation. Pilates is gentle enough to be used as a rehabilitative exercise, yet intense enough to increase the fitness, strength and flexibility of even the most elite athletes. Pilates is perfect for helping women regain their shape after pregnancy as it especially provides results in the abdominal area. Pilates is a great head-to-toe workout, improving not only your body but also your mind. Our instructors focus on designing a programme specifically for your needs.
